2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 Tech, Safety, and Design Updates | Mission, TX
Although both the Cadillac CT4 and CT5 presented a new look for 2020, Cadillac engineers deliver plenty of innovations in the 2021 CT4 and CT5 with a number of notable upgrades.
First and foremost, Cadillac prioritized safety upgrades for the 2021 CT4 and CT5. This includes the new standard Buckle to Drive feature, which helps prevent the gearshift from being shifted out of park and into drive or reverse until either: 1) the driver puts their seat belt on or 2) 20 seconds pass. This is a great feature to turn on especially if you are sharing your Cadillac CT4 or CT5 with a teen driver who likes to “forget” to wear their seat belt.
Speaking of teens, the Cadillac CT4 and CT5 models come standard with Teen Driver technology, which makes it easier for parents to be good driving coaches. Also standard on every 2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 model are Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, the Safety Alert Seat, and Forward Collision Alert.
Finally, Super Cruise with Lane Change on Demand functionality is now available on CT4 and CT5 Premium Luxury and V-Series trims.
The 2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 debut with two new exterior color options: Rift Metallic (V-Series only) and Infrared Tintcoat. These come as we say goodbye to two outgoing colors: Royal Spice Metallic and Red Obsession Tintcoat.
Cabin tech upgrades.
From the driver’s seat, you will have access to the easy-to-use infotainment system (with available rotary infotainment knob for increased safety) with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration. The 2021 CT4 and CT5 models now also boasts SiriusXM® with 360L. You can also opt for the new high-def 12-inch diagonal information cluster.
